1. General

To mark the palindrome date 22 February 2022, which reads the same backward as it does forward, Hellenic Post is releasing the following philatelic products:

1.1. Commemorative Numbered Envelopes with stamp and the Special Commemorative Postmark «22.02.2022»

• Quantity: two thousand twenty two (2.022) pieces will be prduced.
• Price: They will be available fr three euros and fifty cents (3,50 €) per piece.

1.2 Individual Personalized Stamps “22.02.2022”:

These individual personalized stamps plus vignette can be used to mail letters in the first domestic weight category for domestic second-class mail with a maximum weight up to    20 gr., if affixed to postal items (currently 0,90 €).

• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Quantity: twenty tw thousand two hundred twenty two (22.222) pieces will be prduced.
• Price: The individual persnalized stamps will be available for ninety cents (0,90 €) per piece.

2. Availability

The above mentioned products will be available from:

• the Hellenic Post online store (e-shop)
• post offices in the Hellenic Post network.

3. Special Commemorative Postmark

In parallel, the following Special Commemorative Postmark will be available on Tuesday, 22 February 2022, at Athens Central Post Office, 100 Aiolou, 101 88 Athens, from

9:00 to 13:00. 

Collectors will be able to have their philatelic items stamped with the special commemorative postmark, provided stamps with a minimum value of 0,90 €, issued by 22 February 2022, are affixed to them.

Collectors can send philatelic items, free of charge, to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens) by 15 March 2022, provided stamps with a minimum value of 0,90 €, issued by 22 February 2022, are affixed to them. Please note that the postmark stamped by the post office from which the item is sent will indicate the date of posting. Philatelic items to be postmarked must bear the name and full address of the sender so that they can be sent to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.
