The Hellenic Post pays tribute to the great composer Mikis Theodorakis—an iconic figure whose life and artistic legacy are inextricably linked with the history and struggles of the Greek people—by issuing, on July 29, 2025, the Commemorative Stamp Series titled "100 Years Since the Birth of Mikis Theodorakis". The series includes two stamps and a numbered souvenir sheet.

The issue consists of one stamp of 35 X 45 mm and one stamp of 45 X 35 mm in sheets of 25 and one numbered Feuillet of 9,50 Χ 6,70 mm, which includes one stamp of 45 X 35 mm.

The stamps, the numbered Feuillet and the philatelic products are available at the Post Offices and the Hellenic Post’s e-shop. The Set Packs will be available until sold out.

Collectors can have their philatelic items franked with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark by sending their postal items to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens), provided stamps from the set with a minimum value of 1,20 € are affixed to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.
