Order / Product Delivery / Shipping Costs
Upon submission of your order, the following message is displayed (example): "Thank you. Invoicing Completed! The code of your order is: XXXXXX. "
Delivery dates and times:
The delivery days are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 17:00 pm (for Athens, Piraeus, Patras, Thessaloniki, Heraklion and Rhodes). For the rest of Greece the hours from 9.00 am to 14:00 shall apply.
Receipt of products:
Place your online order by 15:00 Monday to Friday and ELTA will send your order within 5 business days for mainland Greece and Crete (in the capitals of prefectures) and 6 days for the islands, as long as the products ordered are available. These deadlines do not apply during periods of extreme weather or strikes, and in any event of force majeure, which could affect the transportation times accordingly.
Shipping Costs / Free delivery:
For online orders, there is a minimum order of 10,00.
The shipping costs are the following:
DELIVERY INSIDE GREECE: 3,00 €
DELIVERY WORLWIDE: 5,00 €
PAY ON DELIVERY SERVICE: 3,00 €
FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDERS OVER 50,00 €
Prices do not depend on the volume or/and weight of products
Your order may be delayed for the following reasons:
Late product shipment from our supplier: To be able to offer very competitive prices, we order our products from a very wide range of suppliers. But there are cases where an order may be "stuck" at the customs or in transit, and as a result the product may not be available in our warehouses when expected. In such a case, we will contact you to ask whether you wish delivery of your order excluding the trouble product, or to offer you an alternative. The particular item will be shipped immediately upon reception in our warehouse.
The product you ordered has been discontinued and is not available: Among the products displayed in our online shop there are rare cases products for which the supplier suddenly and unexpectedly announces that are canceled. In this case, one of our employees will contact you immediately to provide you with all alternative options.
In periods of extreme weather or strikes, and in any event of force majeure, which could affect the transport and delivery of your order.
In the event it is not impossible to contact you by telephone and/or through e-mail (in case of a problem with your order, either in connection with the product, or in relation to the payment thereof) i.e. because the information you have entered is not properly updated.
