100 Years Philotelia (2/2024)
Hellenic Post circulates on February 21, 2024, the Commemorative Set of Stamp - Feuillet "100 Years Philotelia". It is about the longest-running Greek philatelic journal with international acclaim, as expressed through its awards at International Philatelic Exhibitions.
Its 100-year course began in 1924 with Stephanos Macrymichalos (1902-1983). The publication of the journal was assigned in 1926 to the Hellenic Philatelic Society, which continues it uninterrupted ever since. "Philotelia" nurtured many generations of Greek and foreign philatelists and disseminated Greek philately internationally with important studies and articles. It is recognized today as one of the leading philatelic journals in the world.

Collectors can have their philatelic items franked with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark by sending their postal items to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens), provided stamps from the set with a minimum value of 1,20 € are affixed to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.
