On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of UNESCO’s founding, Hellenic Post (ELTA) is issuing the following philatelic product, which will be available starting Thursday, 20 November 2025, and will be accompanied by a commemorative postmark.

The personalized stamps will be available in ELTA Branches and Hellenic Post’s e-shop until sold out.
A Special Commemorative Postmark will also be released. It will be used will be used for cancellations on Thursday, November 20th, from 09:00 to 13:00 at the Post Office of Syntagma Square, Mitropoleos 2, 105 63 Athens.
The Special Commemorative Postmark will be available for 3 consecutive Wednesdays from its release date, at the Syntagma Post Office, Mitropoleos 2, 105 63 Athens, from 09:00 to 13:00.
Alternatively, you can send your postal items free of charge to the ELTA Sorting Center (128 Lefkis Street, 10100 Kryoneri, Attn: Pantelis Skylos), within 60 days from the release date (the post office stamping indicates the date of posting).
Philatelic items to be postmarked must bear the name and full address of the sender so that they can be sent to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.

ATTENTION!
To obtain an imprint of the commemorative postmark on a postal item, you must have affixed stamps of at least the minimum value of B’ priority domestic mail (20 gr), today 1,20 €.
At the end of the year, Hellenic Post will release a set of envelopes stamped with commemorative postmarks especially for commemorative postmark collectors. Each envelope will have the minimum value of B’ priority domestic mail (20 gr), today 1,20 €, stamp affixed to it and will be stamped with the special commemorative postmark for 2025.
