Commemorative Set of Stamps entitled “GREECE 2021 – 200 Years after the Revolution”

A N N O U N C E M E N T

 

1. On 28th January 2021, the Commemorative Set of Stamps entitled “GREECE 2021 – 200 Years after the Revolution” will be released. The set will consist of two (2) stamps (€0.90 and €1.00), with a total value of one euro and ninety cents (€1.90).

 

The set will be available in the following categories and quantities:

The stamps in this Commemorative Set will be 35 x 45 mm and will be printed in sheets of 25, as well as in 3,500 numbered souvenir sheets.

The Numbered Souvenir Sheet will be priced at one euro and ninety cents (€1.90), i.e. the face value of the stamps in the sheet.

Stamps, Souvenir Sheets, First Day Covers and Numbered Booklets will be sold from the date of their release until 27th January 2022, unless previously sold out.

2. Related products:

2.1 Illustrated Set of 2 First Day Covers in a limited edition of 3000 with the stamps in the set affixed to them. The set will be priced at three euros and ninety cents (€3.90) including 24% VAT (€0.75), with the exception of regions with a 17% rate of VAT (€0.54).

2.2 Numbered Album in a limited edition of 500.

The Album will be priced at fifteen euros (€15,00) including 24% VAT (€2.90), with the exception of regions with a 17% rate of VAT (€2.06).

3. Collectors wishing to have philatelic items stamped with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark can send them free of charge to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens), provided stamps with a minimum value of €0.90 are affixed to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.

4. The Philatelic Service’s Department of Product Development and Support will process the orders of permanent subscribers provided that funds in the appropriate amount are in their account before the date of issue of the set.
