GREECE 1821-2021 – Oaths and Sacrifices for Liberty

1. On 25th March 2021, the 2nd Commemorative Set of Stamps entitled “GREECE 1821-2021 – Oaths and Sacrifices for Liberty” will be released. The set will consist of four (4) stamps with a total value of eight euros and twenty cents (€8.20).

The stamps in this Commemorative Set will be 35 x 45 mm and will be printed in sheets of 25.
2. Related products:
2.1 Illustrated Set of 4 First Day Covers in a limited edition of 5000 with the stamps in the set affixed to them. The set will be priced at thirteen euros (€13.00), including 24% VAT (€10.48 + €2.52). In parts of Greece with a reduced rate of VAT, the price will be twelve euros and twenty-six cents (€12.26) including 17% VAT (€10.48 + €1.78).
The maximum purchasable quantity per transaction is four (4) sets.
2.2 Numbered Special Commemorative Cover in a limited edition of 1000, to which the €1.00 stamp from the set has been affixed and then cancelled with the Athens Central Post Office date stamp for 25th March 2021. The cover will be priced at four euros and fifty cents (€4.50), including 24% VAT (€3.63 + €0.87). In parts of Greece with a reduced rate of VAT, the price will be four euros and twenty-five cents (€4.25) including 17% VAT (€3.63 + €0.62).
The maximum purchasable quantity per transaction is three (3) covers.
2.3 Numbered Booklet (in a limited edition of 5000) comprising a special numbered sheet on gummed paper with the four (4) stamps in the set joined and fully perforated. The booklet will be priced at twelve euros (€12.00), including 24% VAT (€9.68 + €2.32). In parts of Greece with a reduced rate of VAT, the price will be eleven euros and thirty-three cents (€11.33) including 17% VAT (€9.68 + €1.65).

2.4 Numbered Album in a limited edition of 500. The album will be priced at twenty-nine euros (€29.00), including 24% VAT (€23.39 + €5.61). In parts of Greece with a reduced rate of VAT, the price will be twenty-seven euros and thirty-seven cents (€27.37) including 17% VAT (€23.39 + €3.98).
The maximum purchasable quantity per transaction is four (4) albums.
3. Collectors will be able to have their philatelic items stamped with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark and the Athens Central Post Office date stamp at Athens Central Post Office, 100 Aiolou St, 105 64 Athens, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., provided stamps from the set or any other stamps with a minimum value of €0.90 are affixed to them. Alternatively, postal items can be sent free of charge to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens) to be stamped with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark, and by 9th April 2021 for the date stamp. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.
4. The Philatelic Service will process the orders of permanent subscribers provided that funds in the appropriate amount are in their account 10 days before the date of issue of the set.
