NOTOS 2021 - European Philatelic Exhibition

1. We kindly inform, you that during the NOTOS 2021 - European Philatelic Exhibition, organised by the Hellenic Philatelic Society, under the patronage of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou and held at the Zappeion Exhibition Hall, Athens, Greece, from 19 to 22 November 2021, will be available the below four (4) Special Commemorative Postmarks:
On each Postmark is written a Greek word that has the same meaning in Greek and English. The first two have a strong connection with Philately and the last two with Philatelists.
The dates of use of the above mentioned Special Commemorative Postmarks are as follows:
- The postmark “λόγος” - “logos”, on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. till 20:00 p.m.
- The postmark “κόσμος” - “cosmos”, on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. till 18:00 p.m.
- The postmark “ενθουσιασμός” - “enthusiasm”, on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. till 18:00 p.m.
- The postmark “ήθος” - “ethos”, on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. till 16:00 p.m.
- Anyone, wishing to have an item stamped with the commemorative postmarks, should post it to the Philatelic Service, 100 Aiolou St (second floor), 10 188 Athens, Greece, no later than February 18, 2022. Please note that the postmark, stamped by the post office from which the item is sent, will indicate the date of posting. Philatelic items to be postmarked must bear the name and full address of the sender so that they can be sent to them.
3. Stamps to the value of at least 0,90 € must be affixed to each item to be postmarked. Any item to be posted must bear the appropriate stamp(s) for domestic or international mail or special delivery service, as the case may be.
