A N N O U N C E M E N T

1. On 13 July 2021, the 5th Commemorative Set of Stamps entitled “EUROMED 2021: HANDICRAFT JEWELLERY IN THE MEDITERRANEAN” will be released. The set will consist of four (4) stamps (€0.90, €1.00, €1.90 and €2.00), with a total value of five euros and eighty cents (€5.80).

The stamps in this Commemorative Set will be 30 x 42 mm and will be printed in sheets of 25, as well as in 5000 numbered souvenir sheets.

The Numbered Souvenir Sheets will be sold for five euros and eighty cents (€ 5.80), i.e. the face value of the stamps they contain.

 

2. Related products:

2.1 Set of 2 First Day Covers in a limited edition of 3500 with the stamps in the set affixed to them. The set will be sold for eight euros and fifty cents (€ 8.50), including 24% VAT (€6.85 + €1.65). In parts of Greece with a reduced rate of VAT, the price will be eight euros and one cent (€8.01) including 17% VAT (€6.85 + €1.16).

 

2.2 Numbered Booklets (in a limited edition of 5000) containing the four stamps in the set joined and perforated vertically, while cut horizontally. The booklets will be available for five euros and eighty cents (€5.80) each.

2.3 Numbered Album in a limited edition of 500. It will be sold for twenty euros (€20.00), including 24% VAT (€16.13 + €3.87). In parts of Greece with a reduced rate of VAT, the price will be eighteen euros and eighty-seven cents (€18.87) including 17% VAT (€16.13 + €2.74).

 

3. Stamps, Souvenir Sheets, First Day Covers and Numbered Booklets will be sold from the date of their release until 12 July 2022 unless previously sold out.

All philatelic products will be available from the Post Collection shop – Central Philatelic Office (5 Lykourgou St & Apellou, 100 38 Athens), by post offices and by the Hellenic Post online store.

4. Collectors will be able to have their philatelic items franked with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark at Athens Central Post Office, 100 Aiolou St, 105 64 Athens, on Tuesday 13 July 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., provided stamps from the set or any other stamps with a minimum value of €0.90 are affixed to them. Alternatively, collectors can send postal items free of charge to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens), provided stamps with a minimum value of €0.90 are affixed to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.

5. Permanent subscribers to stamps from the Philatelic Service will be sent their orders directly by the Philatelic Service provided that funds in the appropriate amount are in their account 15 days before the date of issue of the set.
