On the occasion of World Post Day, the Hellenic Post is releasing the 9th Commemorative Series of Stamps entitled "World Post Day - Postcard" which depicts the journey of a postcard. From the first moment of its appearance the success of the postcard was enormous. Even today, however, she remains loved and desired and manages to bring people closer together. The handwriting and thoughts of the sender on the card capture his feelings and will forever evoke emotion in the recipient.

The stamps the sheetlets of self-adhesive stamps and the FDC sets will be available from the date of their release until 5 October 2024, unless previously sold out. The Numbered Set Packs will be available as long as stocks last.

Collectors can have their philatelic items franked with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark by sending their postal items to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens), provided stamps from the set with a minimum value of 0,90 € are affixed to them.
