Hellenic Post honors Thessaloniki with the release of the Commemorative Set of Stamps “Thessaloniki 1926-2026”, to be issued on September 7, 2026, highlighting four iconic institutions of the city that are celebrating a century of history: the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), PAOK, and the Military Medical School.

The stamps and the FDC will be available at ELTA Branches and through the Hellenic Post e-shop from their release date until September 6, 2028. The Numbered Set Pack will be available until sold out.
Philatelists and stamp collectors will have the opportunity to have their philatelic items cancelled with the special First Day of Issue commemorative postmark at the Thessaloniki Elta Main Branch, 38 Vasileos Irakleiou Street, 54101 Thessaloniki, on Monday, 7 September 2026, from 9:00 to 14:00, provided that the items bear stamps from the Series with a total postage value covering at least the first domestic second-priority weight step, currently €1.20.
