Hellenic Post partnered with the Hellenic Navy General Staff to create “The Naval War of 1912-1913: 100 years since the strategic naval victory of the Balkan Wars”, a special edition presenting the action of the Hellenic Fleet in the Balkan Wars and highlighting the importance of naval operations to their final outcome. This luxury album contains historical documents and photographs from the archives of the Nautical Museum of Greece, the Battleship Averoff, the Hellenic Navy Historical Service and other public and private bodies as well as from private collectors, bringing the events of that era vividly to life.

 The volume includes a special philatelic product from Hellenic Post: a mini-sheet of 6 stamps based on paintings and prints from the period depicting major naval battles of the Balkan Wars and the liberation of the islands by the Hellenic Fleet. It is also accompanied by a special commemorative illustrated envelope with a stamp affixed, franked with a special commemorative postmark.
