50 Years since the Foundation of the War Museum (8/2025)

The First Day of Issue Postmark of the Commemorative Set of stamps "50 Years since the Foundation of the War Museum" (8/2025) will be available from 22/09/2025 until 21/09/2027.

For the cancellation of your postal items with the First Day of Issue Postmark, you can visit the Post Office of Syntagma Square, Mitropoleos 2, 105 63 Athens, every Wednesday from 9:00 to 13:00, for as long as the series of stamps circulates.

Alternatively, you can send your postal items free of charge to the ELTA Sorting Center (128 Lefkis Street, 14568 Kryoneri, Attn: Pantelis Skylos). Requests for cancellations on postal items with the First Day of Issue Postmark are accepted until the date of withdrawal of the series (the mailing date is evidenced by the postal marking of the postal service).
The philatelic items must bear the name and full address of the sender, so that they can be returned to them. Please make sure to note the indication "PHILATELIC OBJECTS" on the shipping envelope.
