Hellenic Post says STOP to child abuse and supports the nationwide campaign "Remains Secret" of the Organization "The Smile of the Child", with a mini sheet of four self-adhesive personalized stamps, released on 19 November 2022, accompanied by a Special Commemorative Postmark.

The November 19 World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse has been inaugurated in 2000 at the Women's World Summit Foundation WWSF and reminds us of the need to protect children and raise public awareness against this phenomenon. We share the message and turn our attention to the children. All children who have the right to health, carelessness, and a life free of pain and any form of abuse.

Α Special Commemorative Postmark will also be released and will be used for cancellations on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9:00 to 14:00 at the Syntagma Post Office, Mitropoleos 2, 105 63 Athens.

The Special Commemorative Postmark will be available for 3 consecutive Thursdays from its release date, at the Syntagma Post Office, Mitropoleos 2, 105 63 Athens, from 09:00 to 13:00.

Alternatively, you can send your postal items free of charge to the Philatelic Service (100 Eolou St., 2^nd floor, 10188 Athens), within 60 days from the release date (the post office stamping indicates the date of posting).

Philatelic items to be postmarked must bear the name and full address of the sender so that they can be sent to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.  

ATTENTION!

To obtain an imprint of the commemorative postmark on a postal item, you must have affixed stamps of at least the minimum value of B’ priority domestic mail (20 gr), today €0.90.

At the end of the year, Hellenic Post will release a set of envelopes stamped with commemorative postmarks especially for commemorative postmark collectors. Each envelope will have the minimum value of B’ priority domestic mail (20 gr), today €0.90, stamp affixed to it and will be stamped with one of the special commemorative postmarks for 2022.
